There are many great experiences to enjoy, right on your beach side doorstep at Villa Melita. Here are a few ideas!

Wander down to Middleton Beach and feel the southern air, wet your feet and beach comb for colourful shells.

From Villa Melita stroll 1.5 km southward to Ellen Cove along the peppermint tree lined walk/cycle way taking in Middleton Beach and the beautifully wide King George Sound views. Reward yourself with something special at Bay Merchants gourmet deli and cafe. Bring your bikes and it's even shorter! Walk or cycle slightly further to the boardwalk for even better elevated beach and ocean views.

From Villa Melita walk or ride 1 km northward to explore Emu Point and its active fishing boat harbour. Grab an ice cream at the Emu Point cafe and on your way home stop for some genuine dine-in local fish n chips at the Squid Shack.

Drive a few minutes from Villa Melita along Emu Point Drive, park and take the Lake Seppings nature trail and bird walk. It is clearly sign posted and has a well designed bird watching sheltered platform, enabling you to experience lake and wild life views.
